‼️ The US Securities and Exchange Commission is filing 13 counts against Binance and its founder, CZ.

The regulator claims that Binance, “secretly allows high-net-worth US clients” to trade on the platform in violation of US securities laws that prevent unregistered platforms from serving US clients.

The complaint also alleges that CZ was tampering with clients' assets and mixing them with personal funds and company holdings.

“With thirteen counts, we allege that the CZ and Binance entities engaged in a wide web of deception, conflict of interest, lack of information, and calculated evasion of the law,” SEC Chairman Gary Gensler said in a statement Monday.
