I was home schooled also. People would judge my parents for it. Saying I wouldn't get into college or have social skills. But yet my social skills are better then my peers . I did goto college and got a great job. Homeschooling for the win!!!!

Same with me. I was a bit awkward in my early teens, but what kid isn't. College was kind of a waste of time it seems for me as I got an English degree and now I program computers...

College proved to be a waste of time for me also. Not even doing what I took. But some of the info from college helped me deal with certain clients in manufacturing. College I took Fuels Technician. Now I do CMMS tech support, for government and manufacturing etc.

Yeah, I perhaps became a more confident writer and my spelling improved. So not total waste, but it also came with a heavy dose of secular "humanism" that took me away from Christ for 15 years. Thankfully, since then the entire secular rationalist perspective has been discredited with the full-on reveal of Clown World (TM). And I'm pretty sure by the time my children would be of age to attend a college/university, they won't exist anymore anyway.

Do you remember the curriculum you used when you were home schooled. Mine was called Alpha Omega

We used different curriculum depending on the subject but I couldn't tell you the names. My mom was a teacher and worked with homeschool families to help them find curriculum. She also made some of her own courses for me and had a book business on the side.

My mom has a teaching degree, so she stayed hoke and taught me and my sister. All 12 years. Dad worked hard so she could do this.
