To be fair. A lot of the cost of hotels is due to daily housekeeping. I often don’t want daily housekeeping at my hotel room and find it kind of silly and wasteful for the sheets to be changed every day.

Yeah changing of sheets is not needed for a short stay, however I do like my bed perfectly made, fresh towels and a little tidy up since that is what I pay for and expect from a high end Hotel.
That’s why I prefer to never go to hotels anymore; checkin+maid service was the leg up hotels had over airbnbs.
Now hotels are simply a very tiny, overpriced, Airbnb
Yeah, I definitely don’t need sheets to be made everyday, but a general tidying up would be nice.
Especially since hotels nowadays insist on these silly showers that don’t completely close so water goes everywhere 🤔
You just shower weird.
I’ve noticed the same, they started doing that in America recently. European hotels did that years ago I think that’s where they got it from
Seriously who decided a shower without a door, or with some half door, was a good idea? Some accountant that realized they could save money? 😂🤣
I’m in the same boat. As long as I have dry towels, I actually don’t want people coming in and out all the time.
