Wind here in Melbourne is an important signal - if it’s coming off the sea it’s coming from Antarctica (Southerlies) so it will be cooler, when it comes off the land (Northerlies) that’s when we get fires and the dry heat that people associate with Aus. It’s been entirely off the sea, we’ve had 2 days of heat this season (33 and 32) and that was pressure systems rather than wind.
Even normies are joking about the global warming/boiling stuff with the weather we’ve had. Government keeps telling us how we’re all gonna suffer devastation from temperature increases meanwhile I wore a fucking beanie walking my dog yesterday a few days before Christmas which is typically hot.
