i have a pretty good understanding of the current state of such technology and it's most likely some experimental variant of Em-Drive resonant emitters used to reduce gravity effect, not actual gravity propulsion - meaning they can make them a lot heavier, and win some of that back to enable bigger batteries and more sensors and munitions and AI hardware

they aren't really gravitic drives, they are gravity nullifiers, to be most exact

takes a LOT more energy to do actual gravity drive, but the other thing is that this kind of electron-based impulse device does enable you to increase turning force that is safe with a human pilot inside, it's just that, currently, that is gonna require a small nuclear reactor to run for any substantial period of time, carbon based and lithium battery based power systems are not gonna cut it for this kind of mass
