Why not federated side chains over nostr, where you zap an npub to deposit, and opt in relays with good reptuation run an extra bit of code to provide federated withdrawals? You get the same user experience, the same, or perhaps better security. It's built on bitcoin and you dont have to built up a user base from scratch.
