What did I do?
Spent time online in my youth instead of developing actual skills to better my life and future.
Kids don't need social media.
They need real world skills to not be broke losers who sit online all day.
Your one lived experience doesn’t negate many others lived experiences.
Humans should be allowed to pursue their best interests.
Raise your children however you want. Ima not one to tell people how to raise their spawn. But ima also no arrogant enough to believe my way is the only right path.
Yes. People have the freedom to be dumb if they want. Just as I was. But I won't be letting my child take the same route.
Here, Im just going off of basic observation, my own lived experience, basic logic, and a few studies.... just look how stupid society is today from internet access...
People actually think the earth is flat.
People actually thought political voting worked because someone said bitcoin.
Mass amounts of people are brainwashed into things.
People think we need taxes.
People don't know how their money even works.
98% of the internet is is people communicating pushing useless thoughts and opinions on eachother, mindless scrolling, or businesses with products or services that people dont actually need.
Its clear as day. Kids don't need the internet. The internet(large corporations) wants and needs our kids.
Because their future profits hinge on it.
Kids need bikes, barbies, mud pies, a garden, dance classes, to come home when the street lights come on, etc
Not the fucking internet.
