He didn’t kill himself. Apparently Hitler and his homies ran to South America and spent their days partly in hiding partly reorganizing a 4th reicht. I’m not sure what happened to Ava but there is tons of proof that they knew Hitler wasn’t dead after the war because the body they have isn’t his. The CIA was kinda sorta monitoring he and his crews whereabouts but didn’t do anything with the intel.
It’s pretty interesting. Researchers have found entire nazi communities in South America where the people who live there know Nazis were living amongst them but didn’t talk about it… and still are nervous discussing it.
I've been reading up on this, and while not definitive, I have certainly found it very, very compelling.
Same! It’s a bit unsettling that most people have 0 clue about it.
Brazilians in general like to joke saying that the south of Brazil is Nazi because of German immigration, but no one actually proves this... It's more of a provocation.
Have you heard of Hunting Hitler? It’s a series that explores that part of Brazil and traces some of the civilians’ families to WW2 Germany. One of the guys in the show did an interview with Joe Rogan about it.
