Learning a new language is a hard task. Many times I give up English because I don't realize any evolution in my understanding. But when I simply applied the idea of natural use of English, try reading, speaking and writing as a child does, my proficiency improved.

Ok, I still make many mistakes, it's a incomplete journeyπŸ˜πŸ˜….

I always say that! How can one improve when the ability is not being used in daily life? Makes no sense. Proficiency means you can get around pretty well with that instrument. Well enough to be understood and to understand. And yeah, your writing is damn good! Congrats!

Thank you! My goal is exactly to be understood and understand, although today I can't speak well. No conversation in English for me at this moment... πŸ˜…

We should get together online to practice. My English is a bit rusty too!

How you learned English?

I was young and had a drive for understanding what the songs were really saying. After that I wanted to communicate and one thing led to another. Took a regular course for about 5 years, moved to the US for another 2 years and that was when I actually became better. But became proficient only after taking a Cambridge course to teach (TESOL) and going through the testing program, final score was C2. But it all started for FUN!

Very cool ✌️😎

Conversation is a huge challenge for me at his moment 😁
