As a newer potter my wheel throwing is still terrible. I currently derive joy from trying to throw cylindrical forms, doing an absolutely terrible job and then smashing the clay. I was taking a pottery class and needed a thrown object to fire and glaze. I just couldn’t find a rhythm on the wheel. I had a bowl I threw with uneven walls that I would’ve loved to smash. For the sake of the class it survived to be glazed. I actually rather like the wonky bowl. #ceramics #pottery #makers #makersofnostr #handmade

i literally am wearing a dress this color right now, and I want this bowl. It is sooo cute.
Ooo I would love a dress that color turquoise! Would you share a picture?
I look like a mess right now, but here is the close up of the material and color

I like the texture of your dress!
Its great because i never have to worry about it being wrinkly
This thing looks great to me!!!
How long have you been learning for?
I am considering a class.
I’ve tried it a little here and there and decided to take an eight week intro to pottery class this fall. Only one night was dedicated to wheel throwing. This was made then. I’d had a one off night of wheel throwing in 2022. Nothing else pottery wise since I was about 14.
Wow.. you’ve done good..!!
I am encouraged to try it.
✌🏼
I like this, it reminds me of Blue Mountain pottery
Aw shucks I’m blushing now. ☺️ Thank you. It will be exciting to play with glazes a little more in the future.
Looks way better than any of my projects
Love it! I bought a wonky little coffee cup from the coffee shop and it's so sweet.
This looks professional to me ❤️🔥🫂 beautiful!
I love its wonkiness! Our uniqueness comes from our imperfections. Same applies to art. No one else in the entire world has this exact same bowl 😊
I also love the colour.
💚💙💜
Thank you!
