Heard a podcast with some dude talking to Jeff Booth about what will happen when AI takes over a ton of jobs and unemployment goes to 25% and beyond.

The dude talked about how bad it would be because men need something to do, and not having a job would be hard.

Well, first of all, it's about finding meaning in life, not about having a 9-5 job.

Jeff talked about how a doctor who looses his job but who has invested in Bitcoin would go the way of trust fund kids, and do philanthropy.

My husband pointed out, if you wanna know what people would do when they don't need to have a 9-5, just look at Nostr! There are tons of people here figuring out how to live meaningful lives, and add value to themselves and others!

Most people used to be farmers, but equipment took over a big chunk of that, and people found other things to do.

Sure, there's a transition period from someone who only knows farming to someone who's amazing at computers, but change constantly happens, and we humans evolve and innovate!

Life is not stagnant.

So, no, I'm not worried that AI might take a bunch of jobs, rather, I look forward to seeing what new things will come as people are set free from the industrial slave system of fiat and 9-5's. 😎
