FB is dying. They are desperate to grow since their whole business model requires growth like a ponzi scheme, and they are stagnating. They do still hold sway, but, they aren't essential.

Yeah just yesterday we discussed with friend how FB is surviving on people used to use old "topical" forums (cars, gardening whatever) but it is absolutely unsuitable for this purpose and we were discussing how to bring back some moder way of forums.
I know many who JUST use it for marketplace. That's really the only thing that makes me consider setting up a burner account, but... It's too invasive so I won't.
