I'm so sick of this bullshit from newcomers ( #introduction ) that are coming here thinking that it's the same thing like in Xitter following, and after receiving the follow back immediately unfollowing.
Usually I follow back, but doing this I have started to miss the notes from the accounts that I'm interested in.
This is not fucking Facebook, Instagram, Xitter to run for followers.

Remember when you couldn’t unfollow, or not reliably between all the clients? I hate people coming here and thinking that it is a clone… are there clones out there, of course, but appearance is where it stops.

But the thing is that a lot of them are leaving because of way too many posts about Bitcoin, and they're not deleting the accounts.
Almost monthly I have to go through followers and unfollow inactive accounts or the fuckers who just wanted the follow back, just to keep seeing the accounts that matter. It's insane 🥴

It's not about me, but to follow somebody, and that person to follow you back, and stay and watch the shit they are posting it's not cool, and miss the posts from people you are interested in.
For example there were two persons who followed me (husband and wife), and they were posting and reposting each others post, and they were posting only Bitcoin AI generated photos, worshipping fucking Bitcoin. I've stayed and seen those for about a month, and when I finally unfollowed them... What to see... They already unfolled me, and me like a stupid mother fucker I've watched that shit all day.
Just now I have entered, and I've unfollowed 3 people because they don't post anything, just repost. They have followed me, I followed back, now I'm unfollowed, and the mother fuckers don't have more than 100 followers.
How the fuck they want to build trust, and anything else if they are doing this?
I've never seen again the 2 persons from the above example, and I didn't block them. Just the people here stopped to zap, like, and repost the notes from them.
But it's my mistake, because I don't go through the profile to see what is there, and I'm just following back.
Good luck. I don’t think I have even 50 followers. I almost never post. Social media has always seemed largely pointless to me. I follow and unfollow (or mute) people all the time. I may unfollow or mute you on occasion. If I do, it’s not personal, just no longer interested in what you post. If you started posting a lot of Bitcoin stuff for example, I would probably unfollow. I don’t feel like I’m missing anyone’s posts because I follow someone else. But I also follow few people as well. So my feed is short. As for trust, not sure I would trust anyone much on the internet. But I do like some posters based on what they post. You for example. I like your posts. And I think if we ever met I would like you. But for now, I just read and enjoy your posts. I don’t repost. So Im no help to you. But I appreciate you being on here, and doing what you do. Have a great rest of your weekend.
