A true masterpiece and in my opinion one of the few perfect films. Incredibly hard to find streaming. With it's stunning visuals, filmed in 28 different countries, dreamlike narrative and moral ideals, and yes ladies... the Lee Pace, from the director of the Cell with Jennifer Lopez... prepare for an orgasm of the eyeballs Tarsem Singh's the Fall.

Tarsem, I only know of two things he's done. I think he might work commercials.

But truly, with only 2 films, one I would absolutely call an Auteur.

Absolutely.

His commercial career is incredibly prolific. I can see some of that background in ads coming through in the art direction for sure.

It helped with this film for sure!

He shot background plates in over 28 countries.

And when you watch films that hate plates it's usually a 2nd unit right? They try to match the feel the colors. But it does somewhat feel phoned in.

Nah. Tarsem was like I'm sitting this commercial here? Let me lovingly and with vision get this plate for this film I have in the back of my head.
