Web 1.0 was still the early adopter phase of the internet. You had to have money to play. You had to have foresight. Once Web 2.0 hit and social media became mainstream, every idiot now had a way to spread their terrible opinions easily. It also expanded throughout the rest of the world and smart phones provided broad access like never imagined
It’s the same with bitcoin. Pre-Saylor you had to be somewhat of an outsider that rejected the status quo. Now it’s mainstream and the suits figured out they could make tons of money with it
This is why the class of 2021 is the worst class of Bitcoiners. They simply wanted to get rich quick, they didn’t understand what Bitcoin was about at all
