I enabled Google services in one profile in order to use the keyboard.
But that keyboard makes network calls to Google. Because it needs to predict the next character based on context. One sound makes hundreds of characters you have to choose from.
Privacy is already lost and by using Google services you lose battery life because grapheneOS has an extra layer that drains the battery.
It just isn't practical yet if you need asian language support.
Plus none of my banking apps worked.
oh weird, all my banking apps just work. You can sandbox board to not use network as well as tell google services to not use network
hadnt thought about that, i should try banking app on separate profile
with eBay, you can enable google services and sign in, then disable the Google services perms, and use ebay normally
same should be tried too if your bank app is not working
dont own graphene device but island does the same thing, in fact the built in android profiles could work too
