Gah, I hate being glued to my phone, but I also hate having no clue what's happening in the world.
It’s called the informatica action ratio and it has ballooned massively since social media, smart phones and the internet. (The Arctic Monkeys have a banger of a song about this!)
Basically, what this means is that a lot of the information you consume has absolutely ZERO impact on your actions in day-to-day life whatsoever.
It can make you wonder.. what happens to you when you dont know exactly what is going on in the world?
