But quantum computing isn’t abstract anymore. IBM has over 1,000 qubits, and Microsoft, Google, Amazon are pushing toward fault-tolerant systems. These prototypes aren’t breaking Bitcoin yet — but they could break encryption in future.

If they succeed, ECDSA (used in Bitcoin) becomes vulnerable. The real danger isn’t quantum theory — it’s centralized quantum power breaking decentralized trust.

Bitcoin has over 180M qubits (UTXOs), there is no second best.

Who is the observer in centralized quantum computing and why should we trust them?

Please explain to me why I should fear a centralized observer who objects bias into a quantum system by both measurement and unitary time.

It should be obvious why they must use artificial temperature and black box error corrections to pretend they can maintain coherence; but it’s all a mirage. They only need to convince you the threat is real, trust the physicists and fork bitcoin.

What does it mean to literally compute a quantum? Satoshi did this 16 years ago; show me decoherence in Bitcoin.
