Yeah. Felt the same. I came to US at a time of great prosperity and marveled at how amazing of a nation it was. Slowly over the next 2 decades things degraded so much. Like a rot that set in. Sad. I still call myself an American and I still feel proud of a country it once was. I hope it returns to its former glory, but ya know.. FIXED.

Yeah I understand what you are talking about! Even 7 years ago I would say I saw some future in here but lately I realized that nothing good will gonna happen in the near future and that we don’t have kids yet it’s probably just go and find a better place
It used to be a place everyone wanted to live. Now, I don't really hear anyone talking about wanting to live in the states. Even foreign exchange students would rather go to Canada (sigh).
It's the degradation of rights, privacy. Lack of access to healthcare, affordable education, housing, you name it. Everything has gone downhill. It's hard to imagine raising kids in the states knowing they will just be another cog in the machine.
