I lived on the internet since 1995. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed anything more than #nostr.
Mostly because I never felt like the community was building the platform.
The platforms were usually already there and we were using them. Progress was made by one platform producing something better than the previous one, and we all jumped.
mIRC was the first social media app I used. It was fun. Nostr gives me mIRC nostalgia.
