A right to privacy shouldn't mean you have to be a dissident, journalist, or domestic abuse victim. It's a human right, period.

They've dropped (nothing could be worse than this news) the digital ID. So news of a battle with encryption will get brushed off by most of the public. Which is the real battle.
Yeah, the public are on it, they’re just ignoring ways to fight back properly digitally. I think the majority are thinking just stay offline or use a vpn (obviously these are getting targeted now too). Most are marching rather than taking actual control.
My view: Everyone needs a NAS and OpenVPN. Can expect NAS prices to start going up next year as people get more savvy I reckon.
