Religion is an organic lie. We can let it guide us despite ourselves, but no can be forced to believe it.

The state is a manufactured lie. It guides us by threat of force, we are made to believe in the state by threat of violence.

It's still better to be the warrior in the garden rather than a gardener in a war. There does not need to be a threat in order to be prepared. All war is based on deception.
