I like that there is another layer two for bitcoin. Lightning was due for some competition.

You must mean mercury wallet because there is no other L2 except for multiple other proposals that have not been coded and require soft forks.
You’re right but I’m happy that it’s being researched. Lightning having no competition is not good.
