Totally random life pro tip: helicopter tape. Originally developed to protect the leading edge of rotors on helicopters. I discovered it through endurance racing where quick body damage can be repaired in seconds on cars. Also commonly used to protect paint finishes on things like mountain bikes. Insanely sticky, durable and invisible. Just repaired my vacuum cleaner with it - highly recommend having a roll of it in your arsenal of tools.

Really obscure but I’m a tool nerd I can always appreciate a specialized tool
repurposing stuff/tools for a new problem is the best, and the little jewel of knowledge that can be shared about the new found solution is even better.
