Hey mark. I have one up and running. I am trying out start 9 with proxmox and integrated UPS. I have only one channel open until I learn all the new things and get comfortable with what I’m doing. Then I will open up more channels again. Unfortunately start9 does not have clearnet without a hack. apparently it will be easier to configure in new release but that date is not available. So far so good

Really don’t want to risk mine or other peoples funds until I’m 💯 comfortable.

If you are running from home on your start9 LN node, why would you want to have clearnet enabled? Tor will work just fine and be more secure for you.

I been running a LN node for almost a year now in the cloud and at home. The best take away for doing so is the education one gains. If the cloud service wasn't at zero cost, I'd be in the red with absolutely no hope of ever getting into the black.

If you are running LND node, be aware it is still beta so risk your funds accordingly.

I have been told that running clearnet reduces the risk of force closes. Don’t understand why or how just what I have heard. Any input here???

wise decision. no rush bro✌️
