Whether you agree with them or not the freedom convoy situation proved JT to be authoritarian which is the word I used not totalitarian, Canada is far away from being totalitarian.

He threatened to arrest the truckers and take away their licenses.

He threatened to seize bank accounts of anyone who donates to them.

He enacted the emergency act because of a blockade in one city.

He's done none of these for protests that aren't criticizing his government.

Look at current pro-hamas protests around Canada, they are much more disruptive than the freedom convoy, yet he's said nothing except they're hate against Jews.

I'm not going to try and remember all the stupid undemocratic and unconstitutional things he's done in the 9 years he's been in power these are just really good recent examples.
