Calvin didn't believe in transubstantiation, if I recall correctly. While a calvinist can attend a Catholic Mass, as anyone can, that person isn't Catholic and therefore can't receive communion.
If a person has Reformed (Calvinist) views, but there are only Catholic churches nearby, then what should he do? Can he attend Catholic Mass? Did Calvin recognize the sacraments of Catholics?
