I will say that it was a chore to get the HUB set up.. but, Alby's tech folks are willing on an individual basis to step you through issues you might have. If they were to lower the lightning fees, you could actually be a real lightning hub. As it is, the HUB is a gateway into businesses that do business with Lightning, and that's not a bad thing. Especially for people like me who're low on the technology education's totem pole.

Ok, for business... But a lot of simple users are trying to use it just for nostr, just to receive 1-21 SATs. They don't need something like this, and to waist an entire day to finish the setup it's useless.
You do have a point. For me, as I said earlier, I'm not very tech savvy, so I thought I was actually getting a full lightning node where I could send along payments, being a node in the middle of the chain so to speak. Albys tech people let me know they've set their fees so high, no one would every use their node for that.
