the therapy isn't the scam. I'd go as far as saying it's a 'plaster'. The real work is putting the tools to good use after the fact.

The scam is the system creating the psychological damage. The culture creating the psychological damage. Whether that's the food and drink we consume, ill advised. The consumer culture created by an inflationary system. The 'fitting in' culture created by centralised algorithms. The need for inclusivity and diversity. Proxy wars. And much more stemming from the need to print more money centrally.

A demand for psycho-therapy was created because humans naturally want to help one and other. The fiat systems currently in place creates an artificial outlook that damages our mental capacity. And where there is a demand, there is always a supply. Right?

Right. My point is that in this case the demand is caused by a lack of basic stuff: friends to talk to.

Disagree slightly. Of course friends are great to talk to, but sometimes the friendship can be affected if they are over burdened with the trauma of others. Also they are likely just to nod along and reinforce what you’re saying whereas a skilled therapist will be able to provide other impartial perspectives along with their mental health qualifications and experience. Having said that there are some terrible mental health professionals out there but the good ones provide a non-judgmental service that friends won’t be able to.
