Alright, so I just woke up a little bit ago and I haven't really had coffee yet, so pardon me if this comes off as incoherent.

I fucking hate scammers. Got hit up randomly by someone on Telegram who I don't know how they got my username and we don't have any mutual servers. They are pretending to be somebody from Syria. They are asking for help. Probably going to ask for money at some point.

Half of my brain genuinely wants to help them because I feel terrible about all the wars going on around the world. But the other part of my brain, who's lived on the internet for a large portion of my life, is very, very, very sick of this kind of emotionally baiting scam. And it genuinely makes me feel like an asshole to tell them to go fuck themselves but in all reality they are probably a scammer.

Why do people think it's okay to use this kind of emotional bait to jip people out of their fucking money?

Sorry to bother you. I'm a poor pirate sailing the grand line, you see my entire crew has been taken from me. Some man in a fashion forward pink fur jacket has attached strings to my mates and puppeted them away! If you could please spare some sats so I can enter 4th gear I would be very appreciative. 😭🙏🏽😭🙏🏽😭🙏🏽
