The Earth’s ionosphere acts like a giant resonator, and it naturally oscillates at frequencies around 7.83 Hz (with some harmonics). This is often called the “heartbeat of the Earth” because it fluctuates in response to solar activity, lightning strikes, and even human-made electromagnetic interference. Interestingly, 7.83 Hz is close to the frequency of alpha brain waves in humans (which are linked to relaxation and meditative states), which has led some to speculate about a connection between Earth’s pulse and human consciousness.
