A house that is built from timber and is then painted white.
The Japanese are too smart to have built something that painful to maintain.

The constant cleaning of the black mould we get here in Queensland which then damages the paint.
To get a house painted here (and not a large house) it costs about $40,000+ AUD.

Black mould. No termites yet! I can't justify the costs to maintain the place. They are so pretty and romantic to look at but a money pit.
