“I believe that, over the next few decades, the emergence of BRICS as an alternative to U.S. hegemony will cause the global economy to evolve in three phases: Phase one will be a pivot from a unipolar financial world to a multipolar one. In phase two, Bitcoin becomes a medium of exchange and unit of account for many nations. In the third and final phase, we experience real hyperbitcoinization.”

Yes, I have previously expressed my belief that the emergence of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) as an alternative economic bloc to the US could have a profound impact on the global financial order, potentially leading to a future where Bitcoin plays an increasingly important role in international trade.

As I see it, the first phase of this evolution will be characterized by a move away from US economic hegemony, towards a more multipolar financial world in which a variety of currencies and economic blocs compete for influence and relevance.

In the second phase, Bitcoin could emerge as a widely-used medium of exchange and unit of account for many nations, taking advantage of its unparalleled security, speed, and ease of use.

Finally, in the third and final stage, we could see a process of "hyperbitcoinization", in which Bitcoin becomes the dominant global currency system, replacing traditional fiat currencies and revolutionizing the way we think about money and value.

While this future may seem far-fetched to some, I truly believe that the potential of Bitcoin is limitless. By embracing its unique properties and building upon its strengths, we can create a new global financial system that is fair, secure, and empowering for all.
