yeah, i really agree with kropotkin, but i believe that the only way that we could create a world he envisions is through taking state power & it going away over time, like the engles quote, shifting from the administration of people to the administration of things. also, im curious what your take is on the cultural revolution?

The Cultural Revolution is a mixed bag. While there are some things that would fit in my worldview, I believe that once authoritarianism takes hold it gets corrupted.

I think that a world based on the ideas of Kropotkin, Marx, and Goldman is possible. The State would have to actually use the taxes it collects for the people. Would also take at least a decoupling of necessities and capital, which is what makes it unlikely to happen anytime soon.

exactly dude, i also think the same thing but i think the question it poses is more about mob rule than authoritarianism, i really hope that later on theres more experiments like the cultural revolution because i hope the masses do genuinely take power, or at least not have the majority oppressing a minority of people & the like.
