Point is it’s not bc they’re immigrants, most are not criminals. And idgaf what you think of what I post.
Discussion
Illegal immigrants are criminals. I guaruntee that most Republicans and Trump supporters don't care about legal immigrants.
Except maybe for people pretending to be more qualified than they actually are in order to "legally" obtain an H1B visa and artificially inflate the size of corporations in order to make them look better to investors, shareholders, and managers.
I appreciate you explaining your position, even if you say you don't care what I think of it.
I don’t know you but when your first comment in the note is a generalized assumption about my ethnicity/culture/religion and reasoning for said note I’m inclined to not care.
I really appreciate that you continue replying despite what you say; I think it demonstrates a real sense of openmindedness and curiosity to continue engaging with someone you think poorly of.
That's actually why I made my first post. I was challenging you with a shallow and unflattering hypothesis, namely the idea that you have no principles and only support ideas that directly benefit yourself. I didn't think you would admit to something like that regardless of if it was true, so I was really interested to hear your response.
Do you have any hypotheses about me? Is there any accusation you'd challenge me to respond to?
Didn’t admit as such, and have very little information on you to make any hypothesis. Other than maybe you’re a bot.
And I'm glad you didn't. Selfish and unprincipled reasoning is boring. It would be much more interesting to hear you try to come up with a defense for identity politics.
You know, I've actually been accused of being a bot in the past too. Back then it was when I was giving stilted and odd responses to what people said. I had strong beliefs about how arguments should be conducted, but I had less practice then I would have liked actually working through my personal rules.
I've actually been using my rules in this conversation too. Whenever someone is dismissive of my beliefs by claiming that they don't care, I try to compliment them for engaging with me, and I try to set a good example by engaging with them. My goal is to test if people are feeling drawn into the conversation, and if so, to pressure them to address their desire to continue replying.
My guess is that's why you got the impression that I'm a bot. You said multiple times in a row that you don't care, and I followed my rule by complimenting your choice to continue replying multiple times. Is that what gave you the impression thqt I might be a bot?
Language and how you pop up I guess a bit bot-ish. But bots are trained in human language so it happens. Not defending identity politics. The idea of “woke” has been so conflated to include so many agendas has moved away from its original concept and cancel culture is extremely annoying. But seeing people I know very much affected by others, systems, politics bc of their identity is a real thing. But also I posted what I posted bc the environment here can be so vehemently anti-woke I want to express another view.
I don't understand your position. You are anti-anti-woke? I don't even know what woke is. Can't you just tell me what you actually believe instead of whatever you have been doing so far?
