I wish I could set a #Zapthrough⚡️ on re-notes so any zaps I get flow through to the original author’s note.

Wait, is that not how reposts work? If I repost a note and it gets zapped, I’m the one who gets the sats? That feels wrong.

That’s what I mean. If I re-note any zaps that are sent to me on that post needs to 100% go to the OP.

Right now the zaps come to me and it’s up to me to relay that to the OP.

You’re able to click on the post and see the original post and zap that though right? I agree it should go to the original poster as I may have just zapped without realizing too

Yes you can click through but I’ve noticed when I re-note someone I end up with sats that I believe rightfully belongs to the OP.

When it was deadbird site and only likes were involved it didn’t mean much but real money changes that calculus entirely.

Hmm a split zapp through might allow DJs to mix songs, splitting zapp payments between DJ an artists.. yes, I see the future....

Someone said that splits are in the works for nostr but I have no idea where we are on that development.
