Are Bitcoiners ready to call bullshit on Bukele’s regime yet? Consistently lying about “buying more bitcoin,” Bukele is a dishonest authoritarian giving bitcoin a bad rep *and* committing horrific human rights violations by torturing people, many times innocent immigrants exiled from the U.S.

This shouldn’t be controversial to say at this point

i don't consider gang bangers to be worthy of sympathy for their exile from civil society, and if you do, then stop thumping your bible on the pulpit and go out and live among the places where gangbangers are dominating the business on the street.

crying about how those people are being sent back where they came from, who were being exported to USA to solve the local problems, is pathetic.

Oh stop it. Go touch grass Jesus Christ. Many folks sent there had no due process at all, weren’t convicted of any crimes…and even if they were, tortured and beaten in prison is authoritarian bullshit

I understand there are many nyms creeping on nostr that love a strong man to crack the whip.

Many of these people were never from El Salvador! What are you talking about? How Bukele and El Salvador deals with their own domestic issues is one thing. My govt sending immigrants to his torture chambers, while he lies about being this bitcoiner while cutting massive IMF deals (which I understand why he did…but cut the act) is another.

i honestly don't care about the current thing, one fucking bit.

i know that at least a substantial number of those who were sent to ES were sent BACK to ES, because they had a huge problem with street criminals.

i am an anarchist, i believe in no borders and i most especially believe in no governments. and my solution to this problem would be that the locals being oppressed by these violent thugs get guns and shoot these pigs dead in the middle of their violence.

almost everything about the situation is contrived.

im actually surprised the no one is talking about his supposed buys or at least investigated them to see if they were actually consolidations or not.

nostr:npub1gaxapm9t9damh6q2lpc04ptcyeh0ysfdfzzs997agu3ae80ftrns7t985l has been and it’s pretty confirmed by various IMF meetings and public notices that it’s just transfer. Unless someone is lying in pretty extravagant ways

thanks

it has also been confirmed in a signed letter by the Minsiter of Finance as well as the head of the Central Bank for El Salvador that no bitcoin has been added since February

This isn't an IMF v El Salvador situation, its marketing v reality

The transfers might be quite elaborate--such as literally 'selling' from one wallet and 'buying' the same amount and sending it to another.

If El Salvador shared the same info with the public as they did with the IMF (their total holdings across all wallets) it would immediately provide clarity. The fact that they don't want to tells us they do not want the clarity that would bring

Two things seem confirmed at this point: El Salvador was forced to stop accumulating bitcoin at the behest of the IMF & El Salvador wishes you didn't know that

Yeah seems they want the best of both worlds - to be considered the bitcoin admin with all the marketing they can squeeze out of it (particularly to U.S. bitcoiners), while also taking an IMF deal they were sort of forced to take.

Fuck the BIS !!!

Study Basel 111

They can enforce more loans anytine they want

We must Rise up

We must Deploy

Never trusted him. It's the eyes.

Of course you aren’t the “bitcoiners” I was speaking of 😉🧡

Wait, what about the thousands of arrested criminals, you don't think that's absolutely fundamental?

The way Bukele and Salvadorans handle their own affairs is one thing, and I know very complicated.

But the U.S. piece, important immigration from all over, the verified reports of torture in these prisons, and then lying about bitcoin for marketing purposes to the world, is another

That’s the line crosser for me for sure

Oh okay, that's the part that annoys you, I see and understand that.

When will Bitcoiners learn to distrust "heroes"? Bukele, Musk, Trump, Saylor, etc etc.

Satoshi is the only hero we need!
