It would be nice if I could select my lightning wallet of choice and give permissions for max amount and no. of payments a day.

When I confirm my zap it doesn’t context switch out to my lightning wallet but instantly sends.

You can set lightning wallet of choice in settings.

I don’t get the second part re context switching.

When you zap, it instantly sends without ever leaving your client. i.e doesn’t change to your app like WoS, phoenix etc.
