Given the entire political framework of Western societies (and elsewhere, for various divergent reasons) is now merely the administrative layer for a cabal of and likely beyond repair, what might an alternate system look like? Is this end-game inevitable for liberal democracy? Even with sound money?

Say you were given the keys to one half of Greenland for a new state. First move (after separating money from state)?

I do wonder if a “jury duty” approach for randomly selected appointees from the citizenry combined with more frequent referendums would provide a better outcome than election cycles and career politicians, which seem destined for inevitable corruption.
