My neighbour’s rental sold.

Investors rented it.

Where 2-3 cars used to be. Now 7 are parked there. Cut out the lawn to fit.

7 cars = how many immigrants? 10?15? In a 4 bedroom home.

My anecdote

Maybe they went south. I’ve got insight into a beach house in Destin, FL and it’s booked solid this summer, which wasn’t the case last year.

I’m in the recreational marine industry and I am seeing a decline this year as well. I’ve been expecting it since 2020, but it seems strange that it is lagging so far behind all of the economic insanity

Too hot the slopey... It's a safety issue.

Conversely, the Washington DC area is abnormally crowded. Traffic usually subsides in the summer, and although tourists clog the usual spots, traffic in the suburbs is usually lighter all summer long.

Maybe people are just staying close, trying to make sure they get their cut of the Cantillon Effect in these uncertain times.

Those missing cars are from the people that fiat left behind.
