Let me spoil the story for you now.

We will win. It will not be easy, but we will win.

And we will usher in an age of peace and prosperity so great that it will dwarf any that came before it.

For a short time we will be reviled and then later canonized and revered.

Eventually though the legends of the past will be abandoned in this new age of prosperity and safety.

Why should anyone care about the struggles of the past, when they have nothing to worry about today?

Our descendants will simply not understand how lucky they are, how protected and peaceful their lives have become due to our sacrifices.

In their wealth they will grow bored, they will seek out alternatives and even begin worshipping the same system that tried to enslave their fathers and mothers.

Everything we did will be reduced to nothing and undone in a millennium.

And what’s worse is that Bitcoin won’t be destroyed by some external enemy or force of nature.

It will come from within.
