My app keeps asking me to log in. I don't want to log in. Shoving that into the home screen is annoying. Plus it defaults to email. Which as a nostr user is ick.
When you open the app it freezes. You have to close it out for it to load. The app should go to episodes by default because that is what it is for. The social stuff is a total distraction and I never look at it. The go to show is hidden away down in menu. My two cents as a user who can't use spotify because I used a vpn with different exits.

Im a browser user, it's not a personal problem as it has a work around, but it might be a problem for new users:
if you go to fountain.fm
your first view doesn't have any podcast, you need to:
-go to the top corner
-click the extra menu
-then Home
and finally you see a list of different podcasts
the work around I use is bookmark fountain.fm/home
but new users will be 'welcomed' by a ton of text and idk it seems weird.
Is there a way to do (some of) the things on Fountain while being offline to then later update one's status on the Nostr network or in Fountain?
I am not always on the internet nor want to always be online while doing audio stuff. My internet connection at the moment is not ideal with a kind of patch job--hotspotting from my mobile phone.

Not on Spotify but I find Overcast’s “smart speed (shorten silences)” and “voice boost” to be feature very useful and sticky features. Especially on podcasts unprofessional where guests don’t have good mics.
Went to the app, tried to enter my npub/nsec ended up in a loop where fountain didn't recognise me. Tried to listen to pod without login but told me I had to pay sats etc. and wouldn't load. Dumped it and went back to Spotify to not waste more of my time. That was my experience.
For some reason streaming sats does not function anymore for me. Have updated app and tried other things but can’t figure it out.
