Day 14

Officially 2 weeks in the jungle today and we’re finding our groove

The first 7 days were challenging

After 9 months of constant action (pregnancy, birth, postpartum, Dan’s death, planning our move to CR, Ottawa trips) we finally landed in our new home and had the time and space to look at everything under the surface

No distractions. No noise

A completely new environment

Building new identities as parents living in the jungle

Learning how to support each other during the transition

Being honest with each other and asking for help when we needed it was a must

We got through it and have become closer as partners and as a family

Embodying the Pura Vida lifestyle is becoming easier and our little Casa feels more like home

Integrating with community is now our focus. Tash is connected with a mothers group, I’m connecting with Bitcoiners & looking to play some weekly Pickleball in Ojochal

Major insight after 14 days:

the slow life embedded in nature is the life I want to live

Pura Vida 🌴
