Watched Roofman (2025), a crime drama/biography, directed by Derek Cianfrance. It premiered at the TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) in September. Based on a true story. Roofman is the story of an army veteran and financially strained father who robs McDonald's restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs. After escaping prison, he takes refuge in a Toys"R"Us store. He changes his identity and starts dating a single-mother employee while planning for the future. I really enjoyed this movie. It has intense crime scenes and wholesome family dynamics. The movie touches on themes of redemption, mayhem and search for identity. Kirsten Dunst, who plays the single mother, steals the show. Not a fan of Channing Tatum (tool), but he does a good job in the main role. 8.2/10 #nodereviews

Great review, big fan of Kristian Dunst.

Great actress 🤌🏾

Yes!

Melancholia is one of my favourite with her starring. Lars Von trier 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾

Loved that one. He has some gems too. I forgot about him.

One of my favourite directors. He’s a proper psycho too. You can see it in his movies. Have you seen the house that Jack built?

No I haven’t.

I will put in the queue.

He stayed at my sister’s house a few years ago. She was (is) involved in the psychedelic scene.

Really messed up movie. It’s about an architect… it’s presented in the form of several incidents. A masterpiece.

That’s amazing! Did he seem like a sane person? 🤣🤣

I wasn’t there. I didn’t like hanging out with those crazies. Everybody whacked out on ketamine and god knows what. 🤣

My sister just bragged a little about him being over there. 🤢

Ah so he’s a ketamine fiend. Makes sense. What I get from his movies is that he’s a proper psychopath. Like no empathy type. I don’t know man watch the house that Jack built

I’m watching it this weekend 👍

til, psychedelic scene

“A proper psycho”
