I have a theory that Bitcoin will actually help the environment.

Glad what I said hit home!🧡
That’s actually a solid point. By driving demand for renewable energy and making energy grids more efficient, Bitcoin mining could end up being a catalyst for greener innovation.
1) Making war unaffordable eliminate the need for rebuilding entire societies every 50 odd years.
2) creating a real cost of capital will avoid capital misallocation.
3) bitcoin mining as a business is predominantly predominantly driven by energy cost and hence comes with "damage" to the environment. Any other business will need to do something more useful then mining, what can not be said about zombie companies producing stuff today.
4) it will lower time preference of people so people will likely buy more durable stuff
5) no one will hold second or third beach properties as investment.
6) deflation can be allowed without the system collapsing
7) states will need to shrink which means less waste in bureaucracy.
Yes Fren it will and over time others will also understand
