How do you know who are/aren’t bots?

It's difficult, in general I would only send (for example) the zap to someone I know or that at least the rest of us follow.
You know at the beginning it was cool, when I first receive the amount it was cool for a sudden, and then a slight fear appeared to me. What if the next person is bot or a person with bad intentions. I couldn’t take risk, returned it back to owner 🤔
