Because a lot of people know the tax codes and there's a lot of different ways to file bankruptcy. When you file bankruptcy, it doesn't mean that you're broke. This is why poor people stay poor rich people file bankruptcy, but it's to protect their assets.

Nowhere in that statement it says that the man is broke, it means as an operator of a business he does a piss poor job and is unfit to lead anything with a pulse. When the bank comes to take your assets you are not creating wealth. It’s also not why the poor stay poor, it’s just a shield and a better luck next time for those who already have accumulated wealth.
