As you may know from from next year the EU will require all devices to use universal chargers & cables from next year to stop the proliferation of connectors.....
Luckily we've escaped such nonsense... our #Brexit 'freedoms' will allow us to continue to have draws full of cables & charges none of which fit any of the things we actually need to recharge... thank the Lord!

Just like the Uk-only equivalent for the CE mark we are not longer going to have.
But then of course we still have all that old kit around that isn't to the new standard (hence the xkcd).
