The schools have adopted the Marxist Paulo Freire critical pedagogy methodology, which thinks it's more important to turn kids into political activist than it is to teach them subject matter. All subjects become an excuse to brainwashing kids into become wokestards.
We see this locally in how they teach Social Emotional Learning at the first 10 minutes of each class in Jr. High. So basically they sneak in their brainwashing activist class - 10 minutes at a time - across all the classes throughout the the day, behind the parent's backs.
This is happening globally, being pushed by UNESCO (United Nation Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) through teacher's unions and governnent institutions.
You don't think there's truth to that? It's not that there aren't multitude of root causes for that to be there case.
