In my hometown, women who wore heavy makeup were often associated with prostitutes. They were trying to hide the many marks of neglect and seeking to lure unsuspecting men.
Often trying to hide the marks left by high consumption of alcoholic beverages, illicit drugs and sleepless nights sleeping with all kinds of men, subjecting themselves to all kinds of humiliation and perversion in order to maximize their profits.
I can't understand a healthy woman, who doesn't have a lazy life, who sleeps well at night, who eats well, needing makeup.
A good dress, some adornment already sets you apart from all the others who seek such validations.
It’s really sad. I think heavy makeup was seen this way in the US in the past.
